Compactor Cart Combo - All in One
Portable
Trash Compactors are ideal for.. Hospitals, Health Care & Medical Facilities,
Restaurants, Cafeterias & Commercial Kitchens, Schools, Colleges, Hotels, Resorts, Amusement Parks, Casinos, Utility Rooms,
Nursing Homes,
Ships, Boats & Marine Use, Marinas, and many other types of applications.
These compactors are state of the
art design with a Built-In Cart that helps with space and safety
considerations. Typically this style compactor is
placed in utility areas or primary trash collection areas. The Built-In
cart (holding a heavy duty poly-bag) collects the compacted trash and
when the compactor signals full it is a simple matter of rolling the
Cart to the dumpster area and pushing a button in order to initiate the
electrically powered raising mechanism (so that the trash can be emptied
into the dumpster). The compactor can compact roughly 750 gallons
of loose trash before it needs to be emptied (which is the equivalent of
almost 4 cubic yards). |

Portable
Trash Compactors (Cart Separate)
are ideal for..
Hospitals, Health Care & Medical Facilities, Schools, Colleges, Restaurants, Hotels, Resorts, Amusement Parks, Casinos, Utility Rooms, Commercial Kitchens,
Ships, Boats & Marine Use, Marinas, and many other types of applications.
These type compactors are also
placed in utility areas or primary trash collection areas. A durable
plastic container is lined with a heavy duty bag and the result is a
tight cube of trash that can be the equivalent of up to approximately
1,000 gallons of trash (or roughly 5 cubic yards) before needing to be
emptied. These units require a separate liftcart (which can sometimes be
an advantage in situations where multiple compactors are purchased at
the same location, since the same liftcart can be utilized for all
compactors). |

Compacting Dumpsters are also ideal for....
Restaurants, Hotels & Motels, Fast Food Locations, Schools, Hospitals, Health Care & Medical Facilities, Colleges,
Resorts, Amusement Parks, Casinos, Manufacturing, facilities and many other types of applications.
These type
compactors are typically placed in a nearby outdoor location that can be
accessed easily by employees. With up to a 5 to 1 compaction (or
reduction ratio) these units can hold up to 30 yards of trash before
needing to be emptied. Typically they can help reduce waste
hauling charges by up to 50% or more depending on circumstances.

Portable
Bin Compactors are ideal for....
Manufacturing, Warehouses, Shop Floors, Retail and
Department Stores, Printing and Related Industries, Food and
Bakery Industry, Distribution Industry and many other types of
applications.
Because of their large output and small
footprint, these type of compactors are best utilized at the highest
trash generation points, such as production or processing lines.
The Compacting Bins can either be utilized so that the compacted
trash cube is palletized for easy transport by a pallet jack or
forklift, or the compacted trash is formed in a Front/Rear Load
Container that can easily be rolled to a location for tipping by the
hauler. These Compactors are applicable in
a variety of situations and can be fed manually, or by a chute,
or by a conveyor or by an air handling system. These compactors can
accept waste continuously or they can be set up to cycle on and off
automatically depending upon trash flow.

Vertical
Outdoor Compactors are ideal for...
Offices, Department Stores, Restaurants, Hotels & Motels,
Hospitals, Health Care & Medical Facilities, Manufacturing, Chain
Stores and many other types of locations.
These type compactors are applicable in
a variety of situations, especially where hauler access is difficult
(but an outdoor compactor is
desired versus an indoor compactor). The compactors can be located next to the facility, and even
be chute fed (through the wall). When they are full, the 2 yard containers
(on heavy duty casters) can easily be wheeled to a location where they can be tipped by the
hauler. Oftentimes a spare container is purchased to be utilized
while the full container is waiting to be picked up. |

Pre-Crushers / Compactors
are ideal for many industries such as...
General
Manufacturing, Auto, Electronics Appliance, Aerospace, Construction,
Boat Builders, Manufactured Housing and more..
These type crusher compactors (upper photo) are
excellent for
high volume bulk materials such as pallets, appliances, electronics
and other large bulky trash profiles. Although they are similar to a
Stationary Compactor in that they work in conjunction with a
large container (such as 40 yard container in the lower
photo) they provide much greater force and must utilize a container
that is greatly reinforced to handle the extreme forces.
As the trash is crushed, it is moved to
the receiving container, which when full, is
separated from the crusher by the hauler in order to transport it to the
disposal site.

Stationary Compactors are ideal for...
Offices, Department Stores, Restaurants, Hotels & Motels,
Hospitals, Health Care & Medical Facilities, Manufacturing, Chain
Stores and many other types of locations.
These type compactors (upper photo) are applicable in
higher volume situations, and can be manually fed or chute fed (including air handling systems etc.). They work in conjunction with a
large container (usually 30 - 40 yard container). As the trash is
compacted it is then pushed into the container (lower photo) until the container
is full.

Self-Contained Compactors are ideal for...
Restaurants, Nursing Homes, Schools, Resorts, Hotels & Motels,
Convenience Stores, Department Stores and many other applications.
These type compactors are most
applicable where space is confined and waste areas require no
leakage. Similar to the Stationary Compactors, the compaction takes
place in one
area and then the compacted trash is pushed to a holding area. |

Mini-Pack Self-Contained Compactors
'Tipped' onsite and
are ideal for......
Fast Food Locations,
Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Hotels, Schools, Hospitals, Health Care & Medical Facilities, Colleges,
Resorts, Amusement Parks, Casinos, Manufacturing, facilities and many other types of applications.
These type compactors are most
applicable where space is extremely confined and the storage and
disposal of wet waste is required. They are similar to the larger
Self Contained Compactors except that these compactors are tipped
onsite (versus hauled off) |

High Rise Compactors
are ideal for...
Hi-Rise
applications involving condominiums, office buildings, apartments
and other situations where a trash chute system is already available
in the building
Depending upon the number of floors, the number of units in the building,
and other factors, either a 'Standard Capacity' or 'High Capacity' Hi-Rise unit would be applicable. Trash that is
placed in the building chute system is channelled into the High-Rise Compactor
which provides a
compaction (or reduction) ratio that is generally going to be about
10 to 1. |

Smart-Packs (Automatic Compacting Receptacle) are great for Fast
Food Dining Areas, Mall Food Courts, Airports, Amusement Parks,
Casino's and any other Public areas where patrons make their own
trash deposits (versus waiter / waitress).
These compactors automatically compact
based on traffic flow and will hold about 300 gallons of trash
before needing to be emptied. They are great for reducing labor,
reducing waste hauling charges and overall streamlining. In
addition, the units can talk, and thus can be programmed to broadcast
verbal messages to patrons. They are also very quiet (not noticeable
by nearby patrons) and they have an odor control system in them.
They are designed for small incremental trash deposits versus large
bags of trash. |

Specialty Compactors such as this
Lamp Crusher are also available
for special situations. This lamp crusher can crush standard
Fluorescent bulbs as well as U-Shaped bulbs.
Both models include a system designed to
filter both dust and mercury vapor. The compactor also incorporates
a side-mounted dust filter containing the highest H.E.P.A. filter
available (which works in conjunction with an activated carbon
filter.) This system captures and neutralizes the mercury vapor
released from the lamps during crushing.
Even after crushing 1500 lamps,
the most recent emission study showed non-detectable levels of
mercury vapor emissions.

Marine Use Compactor
Cart Combo with a special 'Marine Package' designed for
boats, ships and marinas.
These compactors are similar to the
Portable Stainless Steel Commercial Compactor, with the main
exception being that a specially designed Marine Package is added as
a standard feature. The typical Marine Compactors will hold
anywhere from 300 - 600 gallons of trash before needing to be
emptied.

For non-recyclables, a compactor can eliminate much of the labor and handling time normally associated with waste disposal and waste management.
Trash Compactors can be the driving force for huge reductions in waste
processing and waste disposal requirements which means big labor savings and labor
productivity advantages. The obvious benefits are a quick payback due to
highly reduced waste hauling requirements and a tremendous reduction in waste disposal
labor (such as trips to the dumpster and clean-up around the dumpster by employees).
Some of the less obvious benefits are improved security, easier
and improved housekeeping, fire hazard reductions and better overall sanitation
due to trash being contained and under control. Compactors are a simple and very effective way to manage and streamline waste handling routines. Paybacks can be as little as one year or less depending on trash volume and other factors (not to mention tax advantages).
