General Configuration Information
Both Waste & Recycling Materials are accomodated through one chute system. A Deposit Door on each floor with Pushbutton Selector allows for the selection of either Waste materials or Recycling materials.
The Trash Chute feeds into a diverter that diverts the waste materials or recycling materials to the correct bin below based upon the selection that was made at the floor level. The bins are secured and locked in place by a cover that also helps with overall sanitation and cleanliness. When the Bins need to be emptied the cover is raised and the bins can be rolled to a cart dumper for tipping into a self contained compactor with two compartments where each compartment has its own cart dumper. An enclosed cover is applied over the Compactor Loading area when the compactor is not in use. The compactor in conjunction with the trash chute and recycling system can be used for any two waste streams. r For some configurations the containers can also be constructed for tipping onsite by the hauler as an alternative to the use of cart dumpers..
