BALERS FOR PLASTICS

Plastic baling and recycling is profitable.  The cost of manufacturing plastic from scratch is much greater than using recycled plastic, and because of this, recycling plastic has become a business all of its own.  Recycling of plastic soda bottles, milk jugs, containers and plastic scraps is increasing everywhere.  Recycling plastic is not just good for the environment anymore, it is also profitable.  Balers for Plastic are essential to this process.

For example, HDPE and PET are known for having good ‘memory’ that creates a rebound effect during the baling process.  Therefore, Plastic Balers for these materials are usually designed to provide higher pressure as well as other features that help to overcome the memory factor as a means of producing tighter, denser bales that hold together well. In addition, other techniques as a means of reducing the spring-back are to leave the ram down between loading which also helps remove the memory in the plastic.  Examples of a few specialty plastic balers that have special features are as follows: The Bottle Can Baler, the Foam, Film, Fiber Baler, The Shrink Wrap Baler, the Plastic Wrap Mini-Baler and the Plastic Jug Baler. Check with your county recycling coordinator or recycling facilities to determine what size bales or bale weights are typically in demand for the type of plastic you will be recycling. 

Plastic contributes to a large amount of our daily waste.  By capturing plastic waste and then recycling within your business, you are able to capture additional revenues that would otherwise be lost.
