With this Model of our Bin Compactors, when the compactors signal full, the weight of the compacted cube of trash is sitting on a pallet that can easily be transported to a truck or dumpster area using a forklift or pallet jack. The trash is contained in a heavy duty polybag that measures 46" x 46" x 40". The bags are protected from puncture by a metal shield mechanism that descends down into the compactor before each interim crushing process is activated. The Model CB-4900 Bin Compactors hold roughly 2 yards of loose trash and about 12 yards of compacted trash.
Compactor Specialty Add-On Features
Specialty Features can be easily incorporated (at little or no cost) for Compacting Plastics (such as a unique heating method that enhances compaction and bale weights but does not compromise the integrity of the plastic so it can be recycled), Marine Use, Bakery Applications, Explosion Proof Requirements and more. This style of compactor is very versatile and can be very effective for a wide range of industry applications. For example, in the bakery operations this compactor can easily handle the 50 pound bags that are commonly used throughout the Bakery Industry.
Great For Streamlining Waste Processing Operations
In addition to numerous other benefits, these compactors can be continuously fed, and thus they are easily adaptable for trash to be continuously conveyed, dumped or blown into them as a means of further streamlining waste processing routines.
Easy to Operate
The CB-4900 Compactors are also simple and safe. After placing the heavy duty bag in the compactor and closing the door, all it takes is a push of a button.

Compactor CB-4900 - Loading Door Safety Switch When installed, the loading door safety switch prevents the Plastics Compactor from operating when the loading (upper) door is open. (This added safety feature may not be necessary in many applications.) |

Each dispenser (3" x 3" x 3" x 8") controls odors in up to 6,000 cubic feet and lasts about 180 days. Its proactive display provides advance notice for refill and battery change. |
