EPS / Foam Compactors or Densifiers are great for Supermarkets, Waste_Recycling_Articles.htms Factories, Appliance Stores, Fish Processing Plants and many other types of operations that generate large volumes of EPS foam scrap.

EPS Densifiers or Foam Compactors can achieve volume reduction benefits of up to 50 to 1 for maximum densification of your scrap EPS packaging including blocks and boxes. This basically means that scrap weighing about 15 lbs per cubic yard can be densified into logs that equal roughly 500 - 800 pounds per cubic yard.

The throughput ranges of these models spans an average of 25 ibs per hour to 700 lbs per hour and a Feeding Capacity of 65 cubic ft per hour up to 1000 cubic ft per hour.

The process is very simple. After feeding the EPS scraps into the hopper the compressed logs can easily be cut and stacked onto pallets. Inside the machine there are knives that shred or crush the foam blocks into smaller pieces which are then pushed into the chamber for compaction which basically squeezes the air out

EPS (Expaned Polystyrene) is 95% - 98% air and 2% - 5% is polystyrene which is basically pure hydrocarbon.

With high densification capabilities on EPS Equipment, just a few tons per month of EPS waste can translate into quick paybacks.
